Benefits

Residents of chargeable parking zones can apply for privileged access parking permits within the entire area of residence.

Parking permits are divided into three categories – residential permits, permits for large families and low-mobility permits.

Residential permits are issued for 1, 2 and 3 years in line with the applicant’s request. They allow Muscovites to park daily and free of charge within the entire area of their residence from 8PM to 8AM or round the clock after paying a resident fee of 3,000 RUR/year.

Also, Muscovites have the opportunity to apply for a privileged resident permit. The eligible categories of citizens represent: the WWII participants, the Moscow Defense participants, juvenile prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos and other coercive detention places, The Heroes of the Soviet Union *, the Heroes of the Russian Federation *, the Full Cavaliers of the Order of Glory *, the Heroes of Socialist Labor *, the Heroes of Labor of the Russian Federation *, the Full Cavaliers of the Order of Labor Glory *.

* If a resident belongs to one of the abovementioned categories, he/she has the right to receive a privileged residential parking permit, but not exceeding one permit per apartment of residence (see the requirements, application options and residence permit receipt in the Residents section). This residential parking permit gives the right for free-of-charge, round-the-clock parking within the entire chargeable parking zones.

The large family permit is issued per one parent car to a family with three or more underage children and allows free-of-charge, round-the-clock parking for one year period.

Permits for low-mobility citizens allow free-of-charge, round-the-clock parking at reserved slots marked with a respective Disabled people traffic sign. Pay your attention that the owner of such a permit should also have the respective identification badge on his/her car.

It is possible to extend the permit two month prior to expiry date.
